The cottage at Wiviken is nice cottage located at the lake Alkvettern in Värmland with wonderful environment for swimming, fishing and recreation. Attached to the house is a large wooden terass where you have a nice view over the lake. Outside furniture is provided, including sun chairs and a grill for barbecue.
The cottage has an open planning between the living room and the kitchen and very high standard. You have three bedroom downstairs, one bedroom with double bed, one with a single bed and the third room has a bunk bed (two beds). Upstairs on the loft there is one double bed and and also a reading area with comfortable chairs.
Close to the cottage there is a sauna as is heated up by wood which give is comfortable feeling.
At the beach there is a large 24 m2 floating dock, a nice place for reading, fishing and sun bath. It is also a fire place and grill for barbecue at the beach.
The lake Alkvettern is a part of a bigger lake system and you can get pike-perch, pikes and perch. Two rowing boats, canoe and windsurfing board is included in the price and a 6 hp outboard motor and electric motor is available for rent.
The place Wiviken is located approx. 14 km west of Karlskoga and 14 km east of Kristinehamn. Karlskoga is placed as a middlepoint with 250 km distance to Stockholm, 280 km to Oslo and 270 km to Gothenburg. Here is a link to a map >>>
Change day is on Saturday. The owner of the house lives next door and are very helpful to give information. Smoking and pets is not permitted in the house.
